For decades, she remained one of the most important contemporary artists of our time. Known for her strict discipline, her creative urge that remained undiminished to the end, her special aura, her impatience with camera teams – shooting with Louise Bourgeois at her house in Chelsea was, without doubt, one of the greatest professional challenges for us. It was to be her last interview for television and she retained the prerogative of interpretation, she called the rules of the game – and still allowed the camera to take a look behind the scenes.
